MSMSS00006: Operate a Vacuum Loading System Course

Overview

This nationally accredited Vacuum Loading course is a unique training experience developed through extensive industry consultation to provide operators with a strong understanding of Vacuum Loading Operations.

The course places a strong emphasis on Proactive Job Management, providing operators with the knowledge to successfully manage the various challenges faced in Vacuum Loading Operations.

The course includes both Theoretical and Practical components and combines industrial knowledge and best practices with appropriate professional development. On successful completion, operators will be able to safely load and unload their vacuum units, understand how to avoid injuries and the need to maintain their vacuum units so as to contribute to an effective work environment.

All courses can be tailored to suit your business needs.

Entry Requirements – 1 Day Course

Operators need to have completed an HPWJ Operator Course which includes the following units of competencies:-

  • MSMPER200 Work in accordance with an issued permit
  • MSMWHS110 Follow emergency response procedures
  • MSMWH200 Work safely
  • MEM09002B Interpret a technical drawing

Entry Requirements – 1.5 Day Course

No previous experience or qualifications are needed

For both courses, students must have a Unique Student Identifier (USI) which is available free of charge from http://www.usi.gov.au/About/Pages/default.aspx

Certification

This course is nationally accredited and delivered in partnership with a nationally recognised RTO (Registered Training Organisation) for both practical and theoretical components.

Successful completion of the assessment requirements will provide participants with a Statement of Attainment MSMSS00006 Operate a Vacuum Loading System, which includes the following unit of competencies:-

  • MSMWJ303 Operate a vacuum loading system
  • MSMPER200 Work in accordance with an issued permit
  • MSMWHS110 Follow emergency response procedures
  • MSMWH200 Work safely
  • MEM09002B Interpret a technical drawing
